My Approach

Music for media is like salt in food. Sometimes, it needs to bring a lot of character and flavor to a project – other times it serves only to highlight the other amazing flavors already there. Either way, its primary purpose is to elevate and enhance the media it accompanies.

I love composing for media because I love collaborating with people who are passionate about their projects to help them achieve the ideal version of their goals. Whether you need the music to do some heavy lifting, or just to add some sparkle, I want to work with you to solve the unique puzzle of bringing your creative vision to life.

What I Do

Film/TV

Every shot of your film took thought and care, and the music should reflect that. My goal is to bring out not just the story of your film, but the artistry too.

Video Games

Interactive music opens up a whole world of exciting possibilities.  Working with the unique capabilities of software like Wwise and Fmod lets me create perfectly immersive music for your project.

And More!

With a broad base of knowledge including classical composition, sound design, music for dance, musical theater, and more, I am equipped to take on many diverse projects.

My Style

It’s hard to generalize across all the different genres in which I write, but a common thread is a focus on a rich sonic experience. This manifests differently in my classical, jazz, and pop works, so to get a better idea of what I do, please listen to some of my work here.

Who Am I?

I’m a nerd and tea lover who can and will make you homemade sourdough bagels. My ultimate aspiration is to spend my career collaborating on projects that make a difference, whether that’s contributing to important social change, creating community, or just making people smile. When I’m not writing music, I like swing dancing, knitting, planning for the garden I’m going to have one day, and being pretty bad at video games.

My Credentials (If you’re into that sort of thing)

I have a master’s degree in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games from Berklee College of Music, a bachelor’s degree in Composition from the Jacobs School of Music with a minor in Scoring for Media, and spent two summers as an intern at premiere trailer music house Immediate Music.
